Welcome to Wildly Authentic!
Published: July 20, 2020 by: Laura Mausolf

If you have followed me before, welcome back! If you are new here, I am so glad you have found this blog! My name is Laura and I love ALL THE THINGS. Mindfulness, yoga, mediation, journaling, DIY, family, etc.  I even originally wanted to call my blog that, but it was taken, shhh. Don’t worry though I love the name, Wildly Authentic, it definitely describes my love for life, living in the moment, and always being true to others and myself.

My favorite thing to write about is mindfulness and how to use energy, breathing, and yoga to improve your life. I even attempted to open a brick and mortar yoga studio to spread my love of yoga, meditation, journaling, and using the moon and energy to manifest your dreams. Unfortunately, Covid-19 put a damper on things and we were forced to close our studio. It was heartbreaking, but I consider it a learning experience and decided I could wallow in pitty or fail forward and continue on the path I feel so passionately about.

I plan to use this blog as a place to share with others the joy and calm that we practiced and brought to the studio. I am fortunate enough to have kept my job as R.N. in the cardiac cath lab, where I continue to work. So don’t worry, life goes on, as they say.  Still, I  needed a creative outlet and a place to share, learn, help others, and grow. A blog seemed like a great place to do all of the above.  My goal is to share my knowledge and hopefully inspire you to live your best life!

My other goal is to be an advocate for mental health and wellness as I have suffered from anxiety and depression for 20 years. If you are looking for a more in-depth read on my history in this you can check out my book, “The Battle”, you can purchase here.  (Shameless Plug 😉 )

I promise to share any great stories in my day to day life that come up. My husband and I are raising two hooligans. We are hoping they turn out to be, well anything but serial killers would be great, so stay tuned! I joke but seriously,  these boys are wild, crazy, and awesome.

I will let you know the latest on my current garage project as well. This is usually a piece of furniture that I am re-doing. It’s like a surprise for my husband called what did Laura find on FB marketplace to paint or what room has she re-decorated. I might have a painting problem but we will discuss that on a later date.

Together we can figure this life thing out and have some fun along the way! I promise to share what I learn. I will always keep it real and authentic. Feel free to reach out to me anytime with questions or if there is something you want me to talk about!

Much Love,
